Namibe Fishery Academy will be public high school of maritime profile, educating specialists on 4 year courses in following faculties:
- Fishery Faculty,
- Fishing Processing Faculty,
- Aquatic Recourses Exploration Faculty.
Navimor's educational partner in this contract is Gdynia Maritime University having over 80 years of experience
in maritime high level education.
Navimor International and Gdynia Maritime University will elaborate and deliver:
- educational and orgasational concept of the Academy,
- educational and training programs for all three faculties,
- sylabusses for all courses and specializations,
- specification of laboratory classes and lab equipment.
Navimor Inrnational being the main contractor and co-ordinator of the whole project will deliver modern educational equipment, including high - tech ship operation simulators.
Structural design of the Nabime Fisheries Academy is ordered with Gabinete de Estrutura e Geotecnica LDA from Portugal, while
fabrication of the buildings is subcontracted to the Chinese company CGC Overseas Construction Angola LTD.
